The Xuanfeng parrot can breed up to 4 times a year.It usually begins to reproduce when it is 8 months old. The annual reproduction period is from August to December. Usually the birds will built nests in the tree hole. Each nest can produce 2-5 eggs.Out of the shell.Both female and male birds will participate in incubation and brooding. Usually, the wings are full when the chicks are 33 days old, but they need to be fed for about 3 weeks.
